SSC, Saline Sodium Citrate Buffer 20x is a convenient easy to use buffer commonly used in Southern and Northern hybridization and blotting to control stringency for the washing steps after hybridization. SSC Buffer 20x is prepared with analytical grade chemicals and it is supplied as sterile concentrated solution which is used at 0.1x to 20x, depending on the application.
