Nucleotides
The nucleotides include the four bases – adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine (A, T, C, G) – that are found in DNA. These act as the building blocks that are used by the DNA polymerase to create the resultant PCR product. These four nucleotides are typically added to the PCR reaction in equimolar amounts for optimal base incorporation.
dNTPs are available in solutions of each individual species or as a mix of all four species. All our dNTPs are ultrapure (> 99 % by HPLC) and functionally tested in a variety of molecular biology applications including long-range PCR, cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, real-time PCR, standard PCR, and high-fidelity PCR.
